02 / Preparation & suitability

The Right People.
Properly Prepared.

Registration, hospitality knowledge and assignment suitability are separate steps. An online assessment supports review; it does not verify practical ability or make every candidate ready for every venue.

  1. 01

    Candidate registration

Candidates provide contact details, preferred roles, declared experience and availability. Registration begins the review; it does not confirm a booking.

  2. 02

    Experience & suitability review

The agency considers the candidate’s background against the responsibilities and experience required for the proposed assignment.

  3. 03

    Hospitality knowledge

Staff Academy offers learning and knowledge assessments. A completion record informs review only where the assessment has actually been completed; it is separate from practical experience.

  4. 04

    Assignment requirements

We consider the venue, service style, responsibilities, practical requirements and candidate availability for the specific request.

  5. 05

    Booking confirmation

The agency confirms the agreed role, location, hours, rate and applicable terms. A registration or an enquiry does not confirm an assignment.

The details, made clear

Before you
get in touch.

Practical answers for restaurant managers. Our Terms of Supply explain the contractual details.

How do you review candidates?

We review registration information, declared experience and the requirements of the proposed assignment. Staff Academy provides a separate way to develop and assess hospitality knowledge. Registration or an online assessment alone does not confirm practical ability or suitability for a particular booking.

Can we request staff at short notice?

Yes. Tell us the role, venue, date and hours as early as possible. We check suitable candidates and availability before confirming; short-notice cover is subject to availability.

Is a replacement guaranteed?

No. If someone cannot attend, contact the agency. We can check possible alternatives, but replacement cover depends on suitability, availability and confirmation.

What happens if someone does not arrive?

Contact the agency with your venue, assignment details and what has happened. We will discuss the available next steps with you. Any charges or other contractual questions are handled under the agreed terms; an automatic refund is not promised.

Can we request the same person again?

Yes. Include their name and the previous assignment in your request to the agency. A returning assignment remains subject to that person’s availability, suitability and confirmation. Please arrange future bookings through the agency.

How is the hourly rate agreed?

The applicable agency rate and any agreed charges are confirmed with you before the assignment. Share the role, hours and requirements so we can discuss the quote. VAT applies where legally chargeable.

When are invoices issued?

The invoicing arrangements are agreed with the agency. Payment is due on the date shown on the invoice or as otherwise agreed in writing. Raise any specific disputed item promptly; undisputed amounts remain payable under the Terms of Supply.

How do we confirm completed hours?

Keep an accurate record of the hours worked and confirm them using the agreed process. Notify the agency promptly if a record is incorrect, with the assignment date and the specific discrepancy. Billing follows the completed hours and agreed terms.

Can we book only one shift?

Yes. There is no minimum booking commitment. You can request one team member for one assignment or discuss recurring support, subject to availability and the agreed assignment terms.

Who should we contact during an assignment?

Contact the agency by WhatsApp, telephone or email for attendance concerns, booking changes or questions about hours. Confirm material changes with the agency. Venue safety and emergency instructions still apply.
